1015202530Other solutions that are available are to protect the pallet leg via an extra plate or similardressed on the leg. This method is described in, inter alia, the American patent US 4.1 13.1 10.
Another solution available on the market is a protection around the stool leg and this isdescribed in U.S. Patent 6,672,017 B2.
The two most recently described solutions only protect the impact of the pallet legs, but thatThere is a need to protect the impact of other parts of the shelf systems, such as the shelves. Thethere is also a need to protect other surfaces from the progress of trucks and we are an example of thismanual unpacking, weighing or other forms of human handling. Oneprotection that is screwed to the floor provides a good indication of where personnel are protected frompick-up trucks e.g. If the protection consists of flat surfaces and not as is common today with oneangle iron that forms an edge is the risk of accidents to trip over the minor. Theit also happens that fences are used to encircle a work surface. Then these fencesaccidentally run on, after a while they will look quite unpleasant because they are damagedin the event of a collision. These fences are often weak in their construction and when they are set up they give onenice and protective impression. But when they have been damaged and become defunct, they look ona way that does not give a serious and positive impression. They have become crooked and twisted andsometimes parts have fallen off and when this happens the fence also becomes a risk of injury.
OBJECT AND FEATURES OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention aims to obviate your disadvantages with the abovedescribed solutions using a new approach to how a vehicle, in the usual casea pick-trucks, motion energy should be addressed. The new approach is to let the truckkinetic energy is gradually slowed down by allowing the truck to “climb” onto a guard. Tomake an uphill climb quite simply. The deceleration will take place by utilizingthe truck's low ground clearance and allow the chassis to climb up the formed uphill slopeof that a protection comparable to an upside down angle iron or an up and downinverted V-profile of suitable material that is attached to the floor. See picture 2. A big advantagewith this is that the stress of the bolt that holds the protection is minimal in comparisonwith a standard protection with a screwed-on profile that will momentarily brake up the wholethe kinetic energy at the contact with the cover, see figure 1. By the truck climbing upthe profile, the weight of the truck will press against the profile lying on the floor.1015202530Truckama's ground clearance is usually between 30 - 50 mm and the guards can be adapted tothis or the other dimensions that a vehicle may have. The covers can be designed in fl your different waysbut with the same principle with an "uphill". Said slope may be further towardsthe truck side for a softer braking.

Figure 1 shows the principle of a common L-profile protection (3) that is fittedin the floor via the bolt (4). The number of bolts (4) that hold a profile can vary greatly dependingon the size of the trucks, floor materials and the design of the profile. The kinetic energy (2) whichthe truck (l) comes with must in this case be completely handled by the profile (3) and the bolt,the bolts (4) with which the profile is fixed to the floor. It is an extremely disadvantageousstress on the profile (3) and bolt (4) when the entire kinetic energy (2) of the truck is toabsorb all the energy. This causes great stresses as well as lifting forces such as the bolt (4)will be exposed to. The stop can be compared to a total stop and is unpleasant forthe driver. The stop can also be a danger that the load may fall off and that it is unnecessaryvibrations occur in the truck.
Figure 2 shows the new approach to transform kinetic energy into positional energy byforce the truck up on a sloping plane. When the truck (1) holding the kinetic energy (2)comes against the truck guard (7) which has a profile with a sloping plane the truck is forced (1)1015202530with its weight up the plane on the profile of the truck guard (7). This means great benefitsfor mainly the bolt (4) which does not receive any moment transmitted which tends to lift out of the bolt(4) from the floor. The kinetic energy (2) decays during the time the truck is forced to moveupwards, to be lifted, and the truck stops.
Figure 3 illustrates some different details and problems that can be included in the system, but hereThere is really no restriction without profiles being able to be produced as neededoccurs.
Figure 3a shows a cross-section of an embodiment, figure 3b schematically shows onelength section but its length can be completely as needed or in some selectedstandard lengths. Figures 30 and d show 90 degree angled sections. Figure 3e and fshows a softly rounded profile and finally 3 g shows a profile with an arcuate shape.
The truck guard can be used for purposes other than picking trucks, when neededprotect areas from any type of vehicle that may cause accidental entry intothis area.
The color scheme of the profile can be varied optionally. Common color combinations areyellow or striped yellow / black. In some applications it may be beneficialre fl ex color.

A patent protection for protecting areas near pallet racks or other surfaces where a vehicle such as a truck or other type of vehicle can cause damage characterized by the fact that said protection protection consists of a ramp so designed that the kinetic energy of said vehicle is converted partly frictional energy between the ramp, the sloping plane, and the underside of the vehicle, partly to positional energy when the vehicle is lifted off the ramp. A protection protection according to claim 1, characterized in that said protection protection consists of building parts with optional lengths and angled parts so designed that they enable framing of areas in sizes and designs that the market may need. A protection guard according to claims 1 and 2 above, characterized in that said protection can be made of materials such as metal, plastic, rubber or the like. Claim protection device according to claims 1 to 3 above, characterized in that said profile can be pre-sprayed into materials which can be manufactured according to such a manufacturing method.
